Setting Up Napster
First, make sure that you have the promo code that you got when you
chose Napster
as your MusicSelect service for this year. You won't get service without
the code.
Promo Code Redemption Instructions
NEW TO NAPSTER?
If you do not have a Napster account and Napster is not installed on your computer, follow
these instructions to get started:
- Install the free Napster software by

HERE and following the installation instructions
- When prompted to run Napster now, select yes.
- Follow the instructions to register and enter your MusicSelect-provided promo code in the
Napster Card Number or Promo Code field.
- Sign-in to Napster per the instructions.
I HAVE A NAPSTER ACCOUNT, BUT NOT THROUGH MusicSelect
If you are already a Napster member, but didn't get it through MusicSelect, your
promo code will not be redeemable without creating a new account*. You can do this by
following these easy steps:
- If you do not have Napster installed on your computer, please follow the instructions as though
you are NEW TO NAPSTER.
- If Napster is already installed, CLICK
HERE to begin your registration.
- Please follow the instructions to register and enter your MusicSelect-provided promo code in
the Napster Card Number or Promo Code field *.
- Sign-in to Napster using your newly created account per the instructions.
* Please note that you will NOT be able to use the same e-mail address for both accounts. If you
need to change the e-mail address, simply sign in with your original username, click on the My
Account menu on the Napster client and select Member Information. Click on the Edit button at the
top and change your email address.
HOW TO TELL IF IT WORKED
You can verify your account status by Clicking on "My Account" on the top menu bar and selecting
"Account Status".
